I'm still standing

Better than I've ever been. (What, no one else thought of the next words to the song too?) I've been busy lately, despite my promise to take a break. You know how people say that even lovers need some time away from each other? Well, I think that even writers need some time away from writing.

Don't get me wrong, I crave it. Typing a new chapter is almost like a fix sometimes. It's my drug, my addiction and I love every minute of it. But, I've been taking on too much lately and I need to clear my palate, so to speak.

The last time I took a break, I took four months off and ended up writing the best book I've ever written after that. I've only taken a few days off and I'm already full of new ideas. LOL We'll see how long this break lasts.

I do have some good news to share. I've got a contract on three new books! One of which is, in my opinion, my best ever:) It's called Eden and it meant a lot to me. I can't explain it, the story flowed like the others never have. They all flow ... this was just different. I enjoyed it more than any other story and hopefully my readers will feel the same. It's for that purpose that the book is dedicated to my readers:)
I've also done another photo shoot with my official photographer and friend, Stacey. Some of you may recognize him from the werewolf hunter series. That's right, Dr. Richard Stacey is based on a real person and he makes a hell of a photographer when he's not busy being a physicist. LOL

Unfortunately, Marco is still only in my fantasies. Dracula is another story .....

Here are some of the shots we took. I think I'd make a good Punisher. What do you think?

Hey, sweetheart:) Long time no see. And yes, I thought of the next words to the song too. LOL Glad to hear you're doing good. I take on too much from time to time also, so I completely understand. Take a break, relax, have a drink and come up with something good to write:)

So .... do you tell people I'm only in your fantasies for a reason? Does it help you sleep at night if you don't have to think about the monster underneath your bed?
