Lilith finally admits to herself that she's in love with Alfred,
her partner and fellow Hunter. However, her desire for Marco
is growing stronger. With Alfred still on planet Terra, she's left
vulnerable to the charming wolf. Though he's promised to
behave, you can only expect a wolf to wear sheep's
clothing for so long. Besides, the wool itches.

Drawing Inspiration
As some of you may know, I've recently completed a final read through of Book III before I submitted it to my publisher. In doing this, I came in contact once again with the character who most often haunts my dreams. You see, he is the same man who continues to appear in Lilith's dreams throughout the story. I didn't make him up entirely:) But the parts that I did ... my, my, what a work of ... fiction.
I decided a few days ago to do something I haven't done in a while, draw some inspiration. I saw a picture online, I don't remember where and thought to myself that my character would look good in that pose. So, if you recognize the pose, I'm not trying to seal anyone's idea or anything like that. I just took my character and put them in that situation. This was done purely for fun and my own entertainment. But since it turned out so well, I thought I would share.
I would tell you his name, but that would ruin the surprise:) For now, lets just call him my favorite vampire.

Waiting for the dawn
Don't you hate it when you just can't sleep? I'm not normally one to suffer with insomnia, but when my mind is working overtime, my body never gets any time off. The world isn't coming to an end or anything, but recent events in my life have left me to wonder ... I wonder a lot of things. I won't get into them here, for to do so would be giving satisfaction to the ones responsible.
My personal life is fine. This isn't about my marriage or anything of that nature, thank God. And yes, I will get over it. But until I do ... here I sit, waiting for dawn. You know, I haven't seen a sunrise since I was in Jamaica 5 months ago. Ah, here it comes ... this should make me feel better.
I just stopped to go look, and it is magnificent. You can't actually see the sun where I'm at. It's more like dawn breaks evenly over the landscape, spilling its light into every crook and crevice of the horizon. Birds chirp, and I smile. There is a faint breeze blowing, and its such a welcome presence it feels as if God sighed over the trees. I can actually hear a rooster crowing off in the distance. Yes, I feel much better.
So, here's to all my fellow insomniacs. I tip my coffee cup to you:)
