Can vampires dance like sugarplums?

Maybe so, because that's what's been in my head lately. LOL Sorry I haven't blogged for a few weeks. I've been having a lot of allergy problems and battling a sinus induced migraine. Blah.

But other than that, things have been going pretty well. I'm still working on Wicked City, though I haven't had the time to work on it as much as I'd like. I told a friend of mine the other day that when I finally finish this story it will be my masterpiece. At least ... until I write something else. LOL Seriously, I do think it is turning out to be a wonderful story. Wicked City is one of the darkest things I've ever written. It has strong Gothic overtones and even though it is graphically violent, it has some of the most passionate sex I have ever written.

Aside from working on my latest book, I've been reading the adventures of Vampire Hunter D (which I have loved since I was a child) and playing Tenchu Stealth Assassins. LOL Growing up is overrated.

Its not Christmas in July yet to have Sugarplum thoughts, LOL. Did you read something with a Christmas theme or scene? Some scenes will trigger thoughts in me, but never vampires dancing. I'm trying to imagine Dracula right now!

I read alot of Victoria Holt in HS. She wrote alot of Gothics. Have you ever read her? I do love dark reads too with my romance! So looking forward to WICKED CITY!

I don't think I ever heard of The Adventures Of Vampire Hunter D. Too I haven't read a young adult book in so long but I heard they are pretty popular with vampires! Some authors I read of their adult books also write YA books but I never read them.

Off to put books in my reader! Have a great week Tracey.

Nope, no Christmas themed stories, just vampires in my head. lol Constantly:)

I've never read Victoria Holt, but I have heard of her before. A friend of mine used to read her years ago.

I haven't read any YA since Harry Potter, so don't feel bad:)

If you like dark gothic sort of stuff and don't mind a lot of violence, Vampire Hunter D is awesome. It was originally written in Japanese and has been translated now to English (along with several other languages). It's a graphic novel and a comic book. But, the movies are awesome too.
