Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I'm really starting to suck at this blogging thing. LOL
Anyway, I've had some people asking about what I'm working on and what's in my schedule next. I thought I'd just do a post here and answer as many questions as I can.
Right at this very moment (notes scattered all over my desk) I'm working on a re-release. Constant Cravings was previously with Ellora's Cave. As of Dec. 31, 2016, my rights to all my titles still published with EC will revert to me. Constant Cravings is one of those titles. I always wanted to do a bit more with this book, and I wanted it to be called Shaman's Touch. So, when it is re-released it will likely be expanded and it will definitely have its original title, Shaman's Touch. :) I will make a note in the books' description for Amazon and other vendors that it is a re-release and list the previous title.
Shaman's Touch is more than just a re-release though. It is the launch for my new series Unseelie of Atlanta. Each book will have some returning characters, but will tell the story of a different couple (or maybe a menage, I don't know yet. lol) kind of like my Notte Oscura series. So, in that respect they are standalone, but they do also tie together loosely.
At the moment I am working on notes for what a lot of people call the "series bible." That way I can keep everything straight. I've already started work on book two in this series. It will be called Wounded Heart and it will feature a really unique shifter. Other than that I don't have many details for you, sorry.
Shaman's Touch is on my schedule for July 2017. Wounded Heart is on my schedule for Jan. 2019. Yes, I know that's a long time, but I've got a lot going on in between.
I've also begun making notes on a third book, Lord of Frost. However, notes are as far as that one has gotten. Lord of Frost is on my schedule for Dec. 2019.
I've gotten a few questions about the Tris Grima series. Book one in this brand new series (Love me HARD) is currently exclusive to the boxed set Taming the Vampire. I will release Love me HARD as a single title before I release book two. Book two currently does not have a title. Love me HARD is, for the moment, on my schedule for October, 2018 to be released as a single title. That may change depending on how quickly I'm able to prepare the re-releases I've got coming up and write the second Tris Grima book.
It's awesome that so many people have enjoyed this first book and I'm excited that you all want more. There will be more. I promise. I'm just not certain of an exact date yet.
Also on my schedule is a shifter story for an anthology project coming up in Oct. 2017. So far I have some drafted that might become a standalone book or it might be a novella that works well for the anthology. It really depends on how much I write. LOL If the word count is right for the antho, then that's where it will be. If not, the story titled Bloodlines will be out in April, 2019.
Soon I will be working on 4 other titles for re-release. These books will be out between 2017 and early 2020. I know some people think that re-release means you just put them back out there and they don't understand why this takes so long. LOL Because that's not what I do. These books will be re-formatted, new covers will be made (which I've already done YAY!), they might (very likely) be expanded, and they will go to the editor once again.
One of these re-release titles that was a very short story written to the publishers word count specifications MIGHT be expanded into a novella. I'm not sure, but I'd really like to if I have the time. So, no promises, but I might be doing this.
I will also be releasing some recently finished series into boxed sets, and catching up on formatting and putting books into print. I know some people have been patiently waiting for all of my titles to be available in print. I appreciate you and I am working on it.
Well, I think that pretty much sums it up. I've been very, very busy, and I will have more to come soon. Just think, this doesn't even begin to cover my also busy personal life. Holy shit, right? lol
