Top 6 strangely sexy characters in movies

So, why did I want to do a list like this? Besides the fact that it's fun, I've been watching the Hellraiser series lately. The more I watch (despite all obvious reason to be freaked out) I think Pinhead is sexy. Ha. Ha. Ha.

As I pondered what might be wrong with me, I realized he's not the only strange sex symbol out there. No big surprise, I'm sure. So, I made a list of my favorite strangely sexy movie characters. As I look at the list now I realize only one of them isn't considered a villain.

We'll start with an old favorite, Professor Snape. First of all, it's Alan Rickman. What's not to love? He's got the whole tall, dark and creepy thing going on. Not to mention I have been in love with his voice since I saw Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. He stole the show there (no complaints from me) as he often does. Any chance I could get extra detention, Professor?

Next is the only one on this list who isn't technically "bad" but he sure as hell looks that way. Hellboy is a nice guy. Really. I'm noticing a pattern here as well when I realize I've been in love with Ron Perlman's voice since I first saw Beauty and The Beast as a child. As far as the character of Hellboy goes, he's tough, loyal, and willing to do anything for the woman he loves. Who could resist?

Third is the villainous love of my life. Ha. Ha. Why, I'm talking about Mr. J, of course. Besides purple being my favorite color, I love a man with a sense of humor. I realize this is a movie list and Joker has appeared in more than one medium. But, it doesn't matter. In all of his incarnations, no matter who played the part, or in what form it was presented, I have loved him. There really is a method to his madness once you understand him.

This one may surprise you, but hell, you've come this far. Frank N Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show is not only hilarious, but he looks fabulous in women's lingerie. Perhaps I'm drawn to him because he reminds me of Marilyn Manson? Once again, I find that I love the actor's voice. Tim Curry is sexy to me. Even when he played Pennywise in IT, he still had that fabulous voice. Don't get me wrong, IT still scared me. Ha. Ha. Ha.

The next choice is really not a mystery. Dracula has more sex appeal than every re-run of Magnum P.I. combined. If he were real, he'd no doubt get more ass than a toilet seat. Why did I choose the Gary Oldman version to share here? Because I think he played the part the best. Gerry Butler was better looking. But, when you combine his acting skill with his sex appeal, Gary Oldman's got him beat.

And last but not least, the one who got me thinking about this twisted stuff in the first place, Pinhead. The pattern of a sexy voice continues, because I'm so attracted to the sound of Doug Bradley's voice it's just pathetic. I suppose if you know how to sweet talk me just right, it's possible to talk me into anything ... even overlooking spikes in your head. You know, and that whole demon who wants to kill people thing. Say something sexy and it's water under the bridge.

Hopefully, you've found this list entertaining. If you don't share my taste, maybe we can at least share a laugh. I'm not sure what's wrong with me, but it must be hard to pronounce.

I totally agree with everyone exept Pinhead, but I haven't watched him that much, so who knows. Dark, creepy and mysterious does it for me more than a blatant display of testosterone. I would like to add one, Edward Scissorhands. Oddly erotic.

Oh yeah. Edward Scissorhands does it for me. LOL Maybe we should just add a spot for "every role Johnny Depp ever played in a Tim Burton movie."

I'm sure Pinhead gets a lot of love from the S&M crowd.

What's funny about Dracula is if you read the book he's really not all that sexy. "Nosferatu" takes the ugliness too far but really Dracula was just kind of a normal middle-aged dude who happens to suck blood out of people at night.

You know, I've heard a lot of people say that. Still, when I read Dracula as a teen I was attracted to him nonetheless. As an adult, my attraction only grew.

It's funny how many people have sent me a message, agreeing with me about Pinhead since I posted this. LOL

If I'm a freak, at least I'm not alone. :)
